性质：利用培养皿的一侧至另一侧铺有药物浓度呈梯度分布的琼脂培养基，以筛选相应抗药性突变株的方法。一般先将培养皿一侧搁高约5mm，倒入约10ml融化的琼脂培养基，待凝固后放回水平位置，再倒上等体积含适当浓度药物的相同培养基，放置一天后，即成梯度平板。若涂布菌液，经培养后，其上即可长出抗药性菌株的菌落。
