| 雷暴 thunderstorm 由对流旺盛的积雨云引起，伴有闪电雷鸣和强阵雨的局地风暴。雷暴过境时，气象要素和天气的变化很剧烈，瞬时风速一般为15～25米／秒，风速极大时甚至可达40米／秒，降水阵性强，常形成暴雨。强烈的雷暴甚至带来冰雹、龙卷、雷击等严重灾害。造成人、畜、庄稼和财产的巨大损失。雷暴形成于层结强烈不稳定的大气中，在这种大气的低层，如果存在使低层空气抬升至一定高度的触发条件，就可产生对流云。对流旺盛的积雨云中强烈的上升气流把云、雨滴带到云的上部，水滴和冰晶的相互作用引起正负电荷的分离，进而产生闪电放电，闪道上温度骤高，空气膨胀，体积突然增大，产生冲击波而导致雷鸣。常见的有气团内部热雷暴、面雷暴、冷涡雷暴、台风雷暴以及其他热带天气系统所产生的雷暴等。按雷暴的强度、水平范围、持续时间等不同，可分为一般雷暴和强雷暴两类。 |
