| 国际地质对比计划 International Geological Correlation Programmes 联合国教育、科学及文化组织（UNESCO）和国际地质科学联合会（IUGS）协同举办的一项科学研究计划。英文缩写IGCP。1973年正式开始实施。此项计划旨在赞助与促进全球规模的各项基础地质问题的合作研究。主要合作领域和任务是：①发展识别和评价能源和矿产等资源的更有效途径。②了解控制地球环境的因素，为维护发展作出贡献。③通过环绕地球许多地区的对比研究，增进对地质作用及其概念的认识。④改进地质研究水平、方法和技术。已经实施和正在实施的项目达163个。至1990年有126个国家和地区参加IGCP科学活动。中国1977年开始参加活动，并于1980年正式成立了国家委员会。 |
