islet cells
组成胰岛的各种细胞。依其颗粒染色特点分为三种类型:α、β、δ细胞(也称A、B、D细胞)。α细胞占细胞总数20%,胞体较大,胞浆内含有许多粗大的嗜酸性颗粒,呈鲜红色,分泌胰高血糖素,有促进糖原分解、升高血糖的作用。β细胞数量最多,占细胞总数的75%,胞体略小。胞浆内含有橘黄色颗粒,颗粒是细胞浆内胰岛素的小泡。β细胞分泌的胰岛素,是调节体内糖代谢的重要激素。δ细胞数量很少,占细胞总数5%,胞浆呈蓝色,分泌颗粒较大,目前认为它是分泌生长激素释放抑制激素及胃泌素的细胞。还有一种为γ细胞(C细胞),是很少的一种细胞,胞浆着色浅,无分泌颗粒,细胞器也很少,一般认为,γ细胞是α和β细胞的前身或其分泌后的状态。
