      也称一氧化氮。化学式NO。无色气体;熔点-163.6°C,沸点-151.8°C,密度 1.3402克/升;有毒性;分子结构为N=O;稍溶于水,与水不起化学反应,较易溶于乙醇。不助燃,高温时有氧化作用, 高于1000°C开始分解。氧化氮和等体积氢的混合物加热时即爆炸。氧化氮在水溶液中可被二氧化硫还原成氧化二氮;可被初生态氢还原成氨;可被强氧化剂氧化成硝酸。氧化氮由于结构上不饱和,能发生以下加合反应:
  2NO+Cl2─→2NOCl遇氧迅速变成二氧化氮,工业上由此生产硝酸;还可作为配位体,形成亚硝基配合物(见配位化合物)。
  
  氧化氮可在铂催化下由氨氧化而得:
  
  
  实验室中可由稀硝酸作用于铜屑制取。工业上将氧、氮混合气体通过电弧,在4000°C时迅速反应制取。
