在八道沟的双峰山和延吉市北的平峰山山脊上，有古长城和烽火台遗存，其是延边古长城的组成部分。 延边古长城西起河龙县土山乡东山村二道沟的山坡上，蜿蜒腾挪于河龙市的西城、龙门乡、龙井市的细鳞河、桃园、铜佛、延吉市的八道、烟集、长安乡等的崇山峻岭中，消失在东距延吉市15公里的磨盘山附近。多为土筑，也有石筑，全长约150公里，已发现烽火台17座。发现最长的是从细鳞河至老头沟镇的一段，约长10公里；保存最好的一段在老头沟的官船村，尚存高约3米左右。 古长城无文献记载。据研究认为是东夏国的江城。也有认为始建于渤海，其与珲春的"边壕"一起是渤海中京和东京的拱卫之城，后为东夏国利用并改建为防御工程。还有认为其是金代长城或高句丽时期长城。
