Experimental research of wave loads on arc crown wall;

In order to reduce the capacity of sand and stone without influencing overtopping, crown wall is usually set on the dike.

Physical model test about vertical and several arc type wave screens which were commonly used was carried out,measuring the wave force and overtopping on the wave screens,analyzing the characteristics of wave force and overtopping of different types of wave screens,and researching the mutual relationship betw.

Wave protection effects of circular arc wave walls and paraboilc wave walls are compared and analyzed,showing that curving wave walls are very effective in preventing overtopping.

The author introduced the general condition ,overall layout and the featurefull layout types of the Shajing dike surroundings project in Qinzhou city ,such as construction dike with sea mud,mudfill radle bag,protecting slope and breaking wave with rolled concrete precast board,trajectory typed wave wall facilities and drainage,and absorbing tide sluice,etc.
