| 小业主 petty proprietor 以生产资料个人所有和个人劳动为基础的小生产者。属小资产阶级的范畴。一般占有作坊，有少量手工工具、原料等生产资料和为数不多的财产，从事独立的、小规模的生产经营。以出售自己手工劳动生产的产品为主要生活来源，一般不雇用工人，有时雇用辅助性质的助手和学徒，以本人劳动为主，或有少量剥削。 小业主的特点是：以一家一户为生产单位，工具简陋，规模狭小，技术落后，经营分散，为了交换而进行简单的商品生产，其地位极不稳定。随着商品货币和社会生产力的发展，小业主的经济不断分化，少数上升为资本家，多数破产沦为无产者。中国半殖民地半封建社会中的小业主，在帝国主义和官僚资产阶级压榨下，纷纷破产沦为无产者或半无产者。中华人民共和国建立后，经过对手工业的社会主义改造，小业主都加入生产、供销合作社，成为社会主义集体劳动者。在社会主义初级阶段，保留一部分个体专业户，对发展社会主义商品经济和满足人民生活各方面的需要有积极的作用。 |
