为茜草科植物滇桂蛇根草的根。
【植物形态】
滇桂蛇根草，又名：地贵草。 亚灌木，高约50厘米。上部分枝，枝对生，密被柔毛。单叶对生，具短柄，无托叶，叶片披针形，长5～7.5厘米，宽1.8～2.5厘米，先端渐尖，基部楔形，全缘。花为伞房花序式的聚伞花序；花萼5裂。宿存；花冠管状，先端5裂；雄蕊5，互生于花冠上；子房下位。 生于山野路旁。分布云南、贵州、广西等地。
【采集】
全年可采。
【性味】
性温，味辛。
【功用主治】
治风湿劳伤，周身疼痛。
【用法与用量】
内服：煎汤，0.5～1两。
