电磁线的一种，用于制造潜水电机绕组。此类绕组线的使用环境特殊，它浸于水中，在深水井中可能受到几兆帕压力，使用温度在65℃以下，因此要求潜水电线的绝缘能长期处于高压水中而不损坏。潜水电线有两类绝缘结构：一类以聚乙烯为主绝缘，心线为漆包线，外层采用尼龙护套，性能稳定可靠，但工艺复杂；另一类仅有特殊配方的聚氯乙烯为绝缘，结构及工艺简单，成本较低，在高压水中能长期保持其绝缘性能。
