由于热力学涨落引起GL理论中有序参量ψ的涨落,因而超导物理性质也偏离原有性质统称为涨落效应。这种效应温度愈高则愈易显现。例如在临界温度Tc以上附近仍显现有超导电性,Tc以下附近有正常态电阻出现,Tc的转变宽度增宽,比热跃变量有变化,以及对临界磁场,临界电流等的影响。又如对第二类超导体在低于Tc温度产生有限电阻的热激活磁通蠕动等,涨落效应也是引起因素之一。一般地由GL方程结合统计物理涨落理论来进行对超导体涨落效应的理论研究。
