The electronic counter in this design has realized the measurement of frequency,cycle time and phase(difference) and implemented the intelligence coupled with the virtual instrument technology.

In our designed experiment for measurement of wave length by Michelson interferometer,the intensity change of interference fringe is transformed by optical electronic transducer into corresponding electrical signal changing,then it is amplified and renovated for use in electronic counter to measure more accurately the number of emerging or sinking interference fringes.
