Based on the analysis of routing process,the author proposes improved routing strategies focus on restricting the transmission range and direction of control packets to reduce the routing overhead,and make simulation and analysis with original routing algorithm.

To resolve the routing overhead problem of the Ad Hoc network DSR protocol resulted from flooding,this paper puts forward the optimization of DSR protocol with constrained dynamic query localization technique called LDSR protocol.

In order to resolve the high routing overhead problem resulted from the simple flooding mechanism and the unsupported Quality-of-Service(QoS) of the dynamic source routing protocol,this paper introduces a localized recovery method in the route maintenance phase.
