睡眠研究(study of sleep)职业心理学或劳动心理学把睡眠作为一种完全休息来研究它与工作效率或劳动心理状态的关系。睡眠研究，一方面侧重研究睡眠与恢复工作疲劳的关系。如晚间睡眠能恢复人一天工作的疲劳，次日可照常上班，维持正常的工作效率:夏季午睡，能使人恢复上午的工作疲劳，保持下午正常的工作效率;而剥夺睡眠或减少睡眠，则会使人容易疲劳或影响工作效率。另一方面，侧重研究睡眠与劳动心理状态的关系。如睡眠不足会引起情绪焦虑、不安、注意力分散、觉醒水平下降，以及思维迟钝、行为反应失调等，这些不仅会降低人的脑力劳动效果，也会使人的操作技能减退，甚至引起工作失误或人身事故。 (张燕选撰张燮审)
