The article that is based on theoretical knowledge of the discrete math and the computer technique provide numeric stimulate pattern of the flat-faced follower eccentric circle institution, which is applied to resolve the wearing problem of flat-faced follower eccentric circle institution.

For plate cam mechanism with flat-faced follower, this paper derived the formula and the curvature expressions of cam convex profile curve, which can be applied to both translating follower and to oscillating follower.

Based on the geometrical condition in which the cam profile is not self intersecting, the design equations of the minimum radius of disk cam with flat-faced follower are presented and some examples are given.
