半透明珐琅  金属珐琅工艺品种之—。在金属胎上,按图案设计,经过雕刻或锤打等加工处理,做出浅浮雕,点上珐琅药料,烧制而成。也称为“浅浮雕珐琅”。这种半透明珐琅工艺,是在錾胎珐琅工艺哀落时开始兴起的。首先由意大利工匠于十三世纪末发明,至十四、十五世纪有更大的发展。半透明珐琅,不限于在一个金属物上,仅用一种色料,呈现浓淡效果的表现,还可以根据金属底胎的不同形状,在不同部位点上各种色料的半透明珐琅,能产生五颜六色的效果。这种多彩半透明珐琅到十四世纪时,在法国巴黎也甚为著名。在我国的古代遗物中,未发现较早的半透明珐琅,现存乾隆时期在广州制造的“广珐琅”器物,是我国的半透明珐琅,其中有不少是多彩半透明珐琅。另外“银发蓝”的效果与半透明珐琅相似,也是半透明珐琅的一种。
