孪生子(tw，n)一胎双生的婴儿，也称双生儿约占总分娩数的1.2%。同卵双生和异卵双生各占1/3和2/3。前者是由同个受精卵发育而成的两个个体，后者分别由两个受精卵发育而成。鉴定方法有:(1)特征相似法，根据生理性状的相似性来鉴别，在血型、血清蛋白、_耳轮、指纹、毛旋等方面，同卵双生均比异卵双生相似(2)根据胎盘或绒毛膜的类型来区分同卵双生中单胎盘、单绒毛膜占70%，异卵双生则一般各有自己的胎盘(3)皮肤移植法，皮肤移植在同卵双生儿中可成功，在异卵双生儿中则产生排斥反应孪生儿对研究遗传和环境在心理发展中的作用具有重大意义 (白学军蒋兆灿撰林索德审)
