The Helong rockbody occurs in the Jiapigou - Jinchengdong granitic greenstone belt in the late Archaean, which were deformed and metamorphosed simultaneously with the wall rocks, charactered by typical chilled ko-matiite textural stratification, spinifex texture and chilled polyhedric joint.

Field geological survey and geochemistry indicate that the metamorphic ultrabasic rock in Jifeng area of the north Da Hinggan Ling Mountains is komatiite with spinifex texture.

It is composed of serpentinized divine-komatiite,tremolite,tremolite schist,actinolite tremolite schist,chlorite tremolite schist,and biotite actinolite schist and possesses typical spinifex and blastospinifex texture in petrology,petrochemistry and structure characteristics.
