感觉剥夺(sens。ry depflvation)用实验方法制造精神病模型的一种手段。多年来人们就知道，与外界完全隔绝的人可能会产生一时性的精神病状态，在探险家、飘落孤岛上的水手和单人牢房的犯人中，不乏这样的例子。1954年加拿大的黑伯(Hebb)等开始对志愿者进行感觉剥夺的实验研究发现在遮断视、听、触觉达7日后，受试者的暗示性增高。有些人焦虑、紧张、注意涣散、无法集中思考，产生躯体错觉，躯体主诉繁多，甚至出现生动的幻视和妄想。从此，激起了心理学家的广泛兴趣，在世界各国设计出多种方法，对人及动物进行感觉剥夺研究。例如将受试者裸体放入水箱内，水温与体温一致，通过面罩呼吸，完全隔绝声光刺激，最大限度地剥夺了感觉，可使精神改变发生得更一早更明显。受试者可出现幻觉、惊恐和偏执状态，有时类似精神分裂症。感觉剥夺产生精神异常的机制尚不明了。可能是感觉被剥夺后使神经系统的感觉输入调节系统失调，储存的信一号不相宜地出现，而造成认识功能异常 (赵亚忠撰刘协和审)
