也称“紧张性牵张反射”。是指缓慢持续牵拉肌腱时发生的牵张反射。其表现为受牵拉的肌肉能发生紧张性收缩，阻止被拉长。肌紧张是维持躯体姿势最基本的反射活动，是姿势反射的基础。例如，在重力影响下，支持重力的关节趋向于被重力所弯曲，关节肌腱使伸肌肌腱受到持续的牵拉，从而引起牵张反射，引起该肌的收缩，对抗关节的屈曲，维持站立姿势。
