漂白粉 bleaching powder 具有漂白作用的有效成分为次氯酸钙Ca(ClO)2的漂白剂。它的制法是在冷的氢氧化钙溶液中通入氯气,可发生以下反应:3Ca(OH)2+2Cl2 = Ca(ClO)2+CaCl2·Ca(OH)2·H2O+H2O 产物中的碱式氯化钙CaCl2·Ca(OH)2·H2O虽然也是漂白粉的成分,但并不具有漂白作用,因此漂白粉中有效氯的含量只35%左右。漂白粉中的次氯酸钙可发生水解反应: Ca(ClO)2+2H2O = Ca(OH)2+2HClO稀酸(即使是碳酸)也能促进水解反应,并使次氯酸进一步反应,产生氯气,它被称为有效氯: HClO+HCl = H2O+Cl2漂白粉用于漂白棉、麻、纸浆,还可用作水的杀菌剂。 |
