| 硝酸 nitric acid 化学式HNO3，无色透明油状液体，有刺激性气味。熔点－42℃，沸点83℃，相对密度1.5027。市 售硝酸含量为68％～70％，密度1.42克／厘米。溶有过量二氧化氮的浓硝酸呈棕黄色，在空气中强烈发烟，俗称发烟硝酸，含硝酸86％～97.5％以上。硝酸易溶于水，能以任何比例与水混合。硝酸受光照会缓慢分解而变黄，因其中含有二氧化氮。浓硝酸是具有强氧化性的强酸，能将硫氧化为硫酸；磷氧化为磷酸；将有机物或碳氧化为二氧化碳；还能将除金和铂以外的金属氧化为氧化物或硝酸盐。硝酸具有硝化作用，与苯反应生成硝基苯，利用这一性质可用硝酸制造染料、塑料、药品及三硝基苯酚（苦味酸）、三硝基甲苯（TNT）等烈性炸药。浓硝酸具有强腐蚀性，能严重灼伤人体的肌肤。硝酸的生产方法主要是催化氧化法。将除去杂质的氨与空气以1∶9的比例混合，通过被加热到800℃的铂铑合金网，即生成一氧化氮，它被空气氧化为二氧化氮，被水吸收生成硝酸，浓度为50％～70％，经过蒸馏，可得90％～100％的浓硝酸。硝酸与氨水作用，生成硝酸铵，含氮34％～35％，比一般氮肥高一倍。硝酸和磷反应可生产磷酸；与碳水化合物反应可生产草酸。还用于制造硝酸银等硝酸盐。 |
