电影的超现实特性。主要表现在如下方面:首先,它展现在欣赏者面前的只是人与景物的影像，而不是人与景物本身，而这种影像又由于拍摄的不同角度、景别、运动以及光影色彩的处理，有着不同的视觉效果；其次，电影的声音是通过录音机械转播的，可以是夸大的主观的，音乐往往是外加的；再则，不同镜头经过分解组合的蒙太奇手段──包括画面的、声音的、画面与声音的──构成电影的特殊时空，产生特定的节奏与含义。此外，电影还通过画外音、闪现等手段使人物心理形象化主观化。真实性与假定性的辩证统一产生电影艺术的魅力。
