层状注射成型是一种兼有共挤出成型和注射成型特点的成型工艺,该工艺能在复杂制件中任意地产生很薄的分层状态。层状注射成型同时实施两种不同的树脂注射,使其通过一个多级共挤模头各股熔体在共挤模头中逐级分层,各层的厚度变薄而层数增加,最终进入注塑模腔叠加,保留通过上述过程获得的层状形态,即两种树指不是沿制品厚度方向呈无序共混状态存在的,而是复合叠加在一起。据报道,层状注射可成型每层厚度为0.1-10pm。层数达上千层的制品。因层状结构,保留了各组分材料的特性,比传统共混料更能充分发挥材料性能,使其制品在阻隔气全渗透、耐溶剂、透明性方面各具突出优点。
