与某一电路并联的导体的电阻。在总电流不变的情况下，在某一电路上并联一个分路将能起到分流作用，部分电流由分路通过，使通过该部分电路的电流变小。分流电阻的阻值越小，分流作用越明显。在电流计线圈两端并联一个低阻值的分流电阻，就能使电流计的量程扩大，改装成安培表，可量度较大的电流。
