| 水藓属 Fontinalis 藓纲水藓科的代表属。典型的水生藓类植物。植物体通常基部固着于基质，上部漂浮生长。形大而稍硬，橄榄绿色或黄绿色，干燥时略具光泽，长可达数十厘米，基部老叶多脱落。叶3列着生，卵披针形，下部抱茎；叶边全缘；无中肋；雌雄异株。孢蒴由鳞片状苞叶所包被；蒴齿网格状，具多数穿孔。蒴盖圆锥形。蒴帽圆锥状帽形，老时边缘具细裂齿。全世界约50种，生长于北半球的寒冷溪涧和小河中。中国有3种，仅见于北方山地流水中。在欧洲，它被用以检测水的质量。 |
