spatial orientation
空间定向(spatial orlentat，on)人对自己在空间中的姿态、运动和位置的判断和认识。人对这种空间关系的认识是通过空间知觉实现。空间知觉是经各感觉道传入的信息在大脑内加工处理形成。这是一个非常复杂的知觉过程，由视觉、前庭觉、皮肤触压、肌肉、关节觉和内脏觉分析器组成的机能系统完成人在地面上的空间定向，是人类在重力垂直线坐标系和光坐标系的长期进化，经种族和个体发育、巩固形成的，比较稳定。在人类空间定向脑机制中不仅有以光、重力改变为信息源的第一信号系统参加，而且有以语言、文字、符号为信息源的第二信号系统参加;不仅在各分析器当时得到的空间信息基础上整合形成空间表象，而且在第一、二信号系统信息的暂时联系—条件反射基础上形成空间表象。各分析器在参加空间定向形成活动中在机能上相互作用、相互联系，其中视觉起主导作用，其他分析器传递的信息起补充和强化作用。 (于立舟撰陶桂杖审)
