The benzylated wood was liquefied by u si ng tetrahydrofuran (THF) as solvent, and by means of gel permeation chromatograp hy analysis, the molecular weights and molecular weight distributions of liquefi ed pro-ducts obtained under different liquefaction conditions were studied.
