2 lyOUmIOn自由面(f ree face)在爆破作用范围内，岩体和空气接触的界面。这个界面上的岩石，向外运动时不受阻力。自由面的大小，多少以及它与药包的相对位置和距离对爆破效果有着决定性的影响，这是爆破工程首先要考虑的因素。自由面小或数量不足，会影响爆破效果。掘进时的掏槽，就是为了增加崩落眼爆破的自由面。各种爆破中的药包起爆顺序，也要考虑互相创造自由面的条件。在抛掷爆破中，自由面是岩石破碎和运动的方向，利用相邻药包的提前起爆，创造出新的自由面，就可控制主药包的抛掷方向。 (龙维棋)
