性质:又称变色间隔,变色域。酸碱指示剂在水溶液中有酸式色和碱式色两种形态。两种形态的浓度比与pH值有关,浓度比改变,溶液的颜色即发生变化。当肉眼能观察到指示剂从一种颜色变化到另一颜色的pH值间隔,叫做指示剂的变色区间或指示剂变色范围(colour range of indicator)。大多数指示剂的变色区间是在pK1±1范围之内。pK1为指示剂常数。
