| 多路复用 multiplexing 传输技术中使多路信号共用一个信道以提高信道利用率的信号处理方法与技术。与它相对应的技术是多路分离，其作用则是把共用一个信道的各路信号分离开来。在许多场合，一路携带信息的信号频谱宽度往往远低于一个信道的通过频带宽度，如果不采取多路复用技术，信道的频带资源就会被严重浪费。特别像光纤传输的场合，它的通过频带宽度不仅几十万倍于一路电话信号的频谱宽度，而且也几百倍于一路彩色电视信号的频谱宽度。实用的多路复用技术主要有3类：频分复用、时分复用和码分复用。频分复用就是把各路信号频谱在频率轴上分列复用信道的通过频带；时分复用就是各路信号在时间轴上按不同的时隙位置分列复用信道的时间(帧)；码分复用有时也叫波形复用，它是使各路信号变换成各不相同（最好是两两正交）的波形（即码）来共用一个信道。在收端，可以分别按照频谱位置、时隙位置以及码型结构来分离出各路信号。 |
