Based on a review of previous work on the textures, microstructures, and origin of fault rocks, this paper gives some new interpretations and suggestions on the classifications of fault rocks and faulting model as following.
本文通过对断层岩的结构、构造特征及其力学成因研究现状的综述，提出以下几点看法：（１）断层岩是在特定的地质环境下形成的，其结构特征直接反映所处环境的地质构造运动特性，所以通过研究断层岩的内部组构可以直接了解形变环境及其区域地质构造发展史；（２）断层岩的线理和面理结构既可以在韧塑性条件下形成，也可以在脆性条件下形成，因此是否具有线理与面理结构不能作为断层岩分类的决定性基准；（３）断层岩母岩结晶体的大小直接影响断层岩粒度大小的变化，所以利用粒度大小对断层岩进行分类时必须考虑母岩的粒度；（４）通过把断层岩研究与地震学、构造地质学、岩石流变学以及岩石力学等学科的研究相结合，解明断层的力学性质，可以了解发震断层的成因机制以及建立趋向于现实的断层模

（术语）有二种之大中小：一、一增（人寿自十岁，百年增一，而至八万四千岁者）又一减（人寿自八万四千岁，百年减一，而至人寿十岁者）为小劫，合一增一减而为中劫，成住坏空之四期，各经此一增一减之中劫二十也。而经此成等四期之间，即八十中劫为大劫。是俱舍论之意。二、合一增一减而为小劫，二十增减即二十小劫为中劫，成等四期各经一中劫也。八十增减即四中劫为大劫。是智度论之意。已上二说大劫之量同一。
