始建国二年规矩兽带纹镜 纪年镜叶，传世最早的是西汉居摄元年（公元6年）镜，1924年朝鲜平壤附近出土，现藏日本。始建国二年镜，较前者迟四年（公元10年），是国内现存最早的一面纪年镜。清同治年间，祥符周星诒季V宫福建同知时，收得于福州采铜局，遍征当时名人题跋，后赠其外孙冒广生收藏。直径15.8厘米。镜呈灰黑色（俗称水银古），素圆纽及纽座，围以七乳，四组草纹，内轮铭文“宜子孙”三字，外围双线，T、V形规矩，四大乳环以羽人神兽，外轮铭文篆书五十一字左行，外圈S形涡云纹带。铭文：“唯始建国二年新家尊，诏书数下大多恩，贾人事市，不躬啬田，更作辟雍治校官，五谷成熟天下安，有知之士得蒙恩，宜官秩，葆子子孙。”莽器传世不多，除量、衡等数件外，此镜是很重要的一件。经《古镜图录》、《小校经阁金文》和日本出版的《汉、三国、六朝纪年镜图说》著录。1956年由上海文管会收购入藏。
