Precursor of nanometer crystalline NaSn2(PO4)3 is prepared in the presence of surfactant PEG-400 with fully ground Na2HPO4·12H2O and SnCl4·5H2O as raw materials by solid-state reaction at room temperature,the product mixture is heated at 80℃ for 2h,and washed with water to remove soluble inorganic salts and dried.

化学式Na2SnO3。常以三水合物Na2SnO3·3H2O形式存在。三水合锡酸钠为无色六方晶体，因其溶液中存在[Sn(OH)6]2-离子, 其化学式也可用Na2[Sn(OH)6]表示。这种水合晶体在140℃时失水成为无水Na2SnO3。Na2SnO3在水溶液中会水解生成α 锡酸凝胶xSnO2·yH2O,并使溶液呈碱性，经放置或加热会变成β锡酸。
锡酸钠通常是用熔融的烧碱或纯碱处理锡石SnO2而得：
用水浸取熔块，蒸发结晶得三水合锡酸钠。锡酸钠主要用作媒染剂，还可用作纺织品的防火剂、增重剂；也用于制玻璃、陶瓷，碱性镀锡和镀铜锡合金、锌锡合金等。
