The grasslandy aeolian sandy soil in an semihumid temperate district which possess a more humid soil-forming condition than an arid/semi-arid sandy district,is a type of young soil in meadow-grassland cherrozem zone.
温带半湿润地区的草原风沙土是草甸草原黑钙土地带内的幼年土,具有比干旱、半干旱沙区相对湿润的成土条件;流动草原风沙土的物理性状使其具有自我保墒性能,在干旱季节表现出比同区黑钙土更湿润的特征,并且土壤水有效性高;流动草原风沙土经植被固定而发育为半固定和固定风沙土后,逐渐失去自我保墒性能和湿润性;对草原风沙土进行人工生物固沙时,不宜大面积栽植速生杨树片林,否则随着草原风沙土的固定和树龄的增大,会因土壤水分不足而成片死亡或发育不良。

Based on the analysis of the yield of 15 alfalfa varieties and meteorological factors in semi-arid area(Huanxian) and semi-humid areas(Ningxian and Xifeng) with the data from 2004 to 2006,the results indicated that the precipitation was the key factor for affecting the yield,and temperature took the second place.
2004-2006年对陇东地区的半干旱区(环县)和半湿润区(宁县和西峰)15个紫花苜蓿Medicago stiva品种干草产量与气象要素进行分析得出,降水是影响紫花苜蓿干草产量增加的关键因子,其次是平均气温,而日照时间和≥0℃积温能满足紫花苜蓿生长需求。
