性质: 又称伪石榴皮碱。白色或微黄色结晶,熔点48℃,沸点246℃(101.32kPa)。易溶于酒精、氯仿,溶于水、乙醚,难溶于石油醚。碱性很强,存在于石榴科植物石榴(Punica granatum L.)的树皮。具有驱绦虫的作用,小剂量能增强离体蛙心收缩。
