In this paper,we introduce a CNC machining technique of lettering on taper-surface throught adopting the three-axis CNC and multiple axis indexing mechanism and so on.

A new lettering technology is put forward based on the electrochemical dissolving principle of anode,and the equipment for lettering is designed and lettering on bearing is tested.

Using a sort of lettering glass vessel mould as an example,this paper introduces the application of Pro/E in three-dimension model and rapid prototype of glass mould designing,which offers a creditable design flat roof for rapid tooling and sets up a firm foundation for manufacture of glass mould.
