偏振镜又称偏光镜,分为圆偏(cpl)和线偏(pl)两种,偏振镜是相机的附属配件。光线本身是一种电磁波,经反射和漫射之后,某个方向的振动会减弱,从而成为偏振光,因而,光滑物体表面的反光和天空的漫射光就是偏振光,而这些光线会影响摄影成像的清晰度。偏振镜可以选择让某个方向振动的光线通过,于是使用偏振镜可以减弱物体表面的反光,可以突出蓝天白云和压暗天空等等,在静物摄影和风光摄影中,偏振镜十分有用。
