用途：本品是吩噻类药物中的代表性药物。对中枢神经系统，小剂量有安定作用，大剂量连续使用有抗精神病作用，本品抑制丘脑下体温调节中枢，使体温随环境温度升降，配合其他药物，使体温降至正常体温之下，代谢降低，称人工冬眠。主要用于抗精神病、加强催眠剂、麻醉剂、镇痛剂及抗惊厥剂的作用。又可用于对呕吐和顽固性呃逆的镇吐及引起人工冬眠等。
