The changes of proline(Pro),soluble sugar and soluble protein in leaves of 12 pepper varieties whom were known tolerance to low temperature and poor light under low temperature(15℃/5℃,day/night,simulating unfavorable conditions of sunshine greenhouse in deep winter) and poor light(100 μmol·m-2·s-1,12 h photoperiod) stress were studied.
