性质:普遍采用的一种氯气压缩机。为液环式旋转压缩机。采用不与氯气起作用的硫酸作密封液体。由内部呈椭圆的壳体、壳体内部旋转的带叶轮的转子和连在壳体两则的盖子组成。材料为铸铁。当叶轮旋转时,由于离心力的作用把壳体内的硫酸抛向壳壁,形成一个紧贴着壳壁的液环随之旋转。因壁与叶轮间距离各处不等,利用其空间的大小不等,硫酸离开叶轮、气体空间变大,外来氯气从进口吸入,硫酸压向叶轮,氯气加压,从出口通道排出,如此周而复始进入气体的输送。
