属硫盐矿物。化学成分为 Pb4FeSb6S14，晶体属单斜晶系。英文名来自英国矿物学家R.詹姆森(Robert Jame-son)的姓氏。脆硫锑铅矿呈铅灰色，金属光泽。摩斯硬度2.5～3,比重5.6。晶体形态呈柱状或针状；通常呈羽毛状集合体，故有"羽毛矿"之称。主要产于多金属热液矿床中，可作为提炼铅和锑的矿物原料。中国广西大厂是世界著名产地，脆硫锑铅矿产出数量之多为世界所罕见。脆硫锑铅矿作为主要矿物产出的矿床还见于墨西哥的希达尔戈、英国的康沃尔等。
