| 天气形势 synoptic situation 天气系统在天气图上的分布特征及其所表示的大气运动状态。又称环流形势、气压形势。一般指大范围地区的形势，如北半球天气形势、欧亚天气形势等。 天气形势的基本特征决定于行星尺度的天气系统。由于其在高空的反映最明显，所以高空天气形势较地面更受重视。天气形势每天都在变化，按其特征可归纳为不同的类型，称天气型，如纬向环流型、经向环流型等。每种天气型都有相应的天气过程和天气分布，因此，在用天气图方法制作短期和中期的天气预报时，须先作天气形势预报。只有在正确的形势预报的基础上，才可能作出正确的天气预报。 |
