| 油船 oil tanker 载运散装石油或成品油的液货运输船舶。早期的石油是用桶装运输，占用了大量舱容。19世纪后期开始散装运输并以很快速度发展。20世纪80年代初油船在世界上的总吨位占商船总吨位一半，油船的单船吨位已达50余万吨。油船装载的是液体燃料，易燃易爆，流动挥发，因此要求油船有严格的防火设施。船体结构上要求油舱与尖舱、机舱、泵舱之间有隔离舱，且机舱设于船尾部，以保证防火安全。油舱设有数道纵、横隔舱格，以减少液面流动升降时对船舶稳性的影响。由于油船长深比大，船体结构多采用纵骨架式，以加强纵向强度。甲板上设有管系、人行桥而无装卸设备。防止油船对海洋污染是世界各国普遍关注的大问题。因油运常为单方向运输，回程则需向舱内注入压载水，以保船舶稳性，故产生压载水排放、洗舱水排放需进行油水分离的防污染处理。国际防止船舶污染公约要求新造的2万吨以上的原油船和载重量3万吨以上的成品油船，须设专用压载水舱，新油船必须设原油洗舱设备。
