[Objective] The purpose was to supply theoretical basis for the flowering forcing of Japanese quince in Spring festival.

Usd Japanese quince as experimental materials,an experiment was carried out to observe the chilling requirement of 4 different varieties for breaking dormancy,which indicated the chilling requirement of different varieties for breaking dormancy were obviously different.

Through study on promotion culture of Japanese quince for three years,the results showed,choosing 5 years old plants and culturing in flowerpots for more than one year,chilling demand of the plants might be satisfied,domancy of the blossom buds might be broken,the quality of promotion culture of plants might be improved.
