A Study on the Selection and Application of Ornamental Plants in the Coastal Land-scape Zone——Case Studied on Rocky Coastal Cities in Shandong Province;

Experiment on planting technology and survival ratio of Platycladus orientalis in rocky coast in western Liaoning were conducted by seeding age,planting season,hydrogel treatments,root treaments.

Experiment on species composition of rocky coastal protective forest was carried out in Sanmen and Ninghai county, Zhejiang province, and determination was made on tree growth.

Based on ecological economy,study on design priciple and method、tree species、forestation technique and management technique of ecological economic forest in bedrock coast of Zhejiang resulted that Chinese bayberry、bamboo、pummelo and persimmon were recommended as forestation tree species for ecological economic forest in bedrock coast of Zhejiang.

Investigations and study on existing main forestation tree species in bedrock coast of Zhejiang indicated that growth of Slash Pine、Horsetail beefwood、Gum、Camphortree、Beautiful sweetgum and Chinese weeping cypress was well and their forest productivity was large, they could gradually replace Japanese black pine and Masson pine.

According to the fractal theory, effects of the tectonic on the fractal character of coastline are preliminarily discussed as a case study of China bedrock coast in macro-scale.

Based on the coastline bedrock of Fuzhou City and the techniques of both survey on the spot and indoor analysis, the fractal character for joint of coastline bedrock of Fujian Province and its relation to macro- tectonic are discussed in this paper.
