| 钛铁矿 ilmenite 铁、钛的氧化物矿物。成分为FeTiO3。含TiO2 52.66％，是提取钛和二氧化钛的主要矿物。三方晶系，晶体常成板状，集合体呈块状或粒状。钢灰或铁黑色，金属光泽，莫氏硬度5～6，比重4.7～4.78，具弱磁性。作为副矿物见于火成岩和变质岩中，也可形成砂矿。著名矿山有加拿大魁北克的埃拉德湖，挪威的克拉格罗等。滨海砂矿著名产地有印度特兰万科尔，美国佛罗里达，澳大利亚东海岸等。中国四川攀枝花铁矿中，钛铁矿分布于磁铁矿颗粒之间或裂理中，并形成大型矿床。 |
