| 环食 annular eclipse 月面挡住日轮中央， 四周微露边缘呈一圈光环的日食。这是因为月球离地球较远时，其视直径小于日面，本影锥的顶点达不到地面，在地球表面扫过的仅是伪本影。在伪本影内，月球不能完全遮住太阳，在太阳边缘剩下一圈光环。日环食只有初亏、食甚和复圆3个阶段，见食时间比日全食长一倍左右。有时本影锥顶点刚好达到地面，日食带的前后两段看到日环食，中间一段看到日全食， 称为日全环食。据统计每世纪平均发生日环食约82次， 而日全环食仅5次。
