Mineral chemistry and geological significance of clinopyroxenes from Middle Devonian picrite on the southern margin of the Altay Mountain;

Serpentinized euhedral-subhedral olivine phenocrystals are dominant in the picrites.

Here we present Re-Os abundances and Os isotopic compositions of 12 picrites and 6 associated basalts collected from Daju and Shiman sections,Lijiang area,western part of Emeishan large igneous province(ELIP Zhang et al,2006).

The research of the deposit shows that,at the tip of fold structure, where the violent serpentinizaion,phlogopitization,tremolitization and with thick serpentinization for sterite, make for the host of commerical value boron orebody,in addition,the concomitant magnetic anomally should be pay more attention in ore-searching.
