On basis of analysis of regional geology in the southern part of Shaanxi and distribution of potassium bearing rocks in the study areas, preliminary conclusion has been come that the rocks are all located around margins of a platform or a geosyncline, probably grouped into four types: detrital rock, volcanic lava, syenite and pegmatite.

| 钾石盐 sylvite 成分为K的卤化物（KCl）矿物。 制造钾肥和提取钾的主要原料。无色透明大晶体可用作光学材料。等轴晶系，单晶少见，呈立方体或立方体与八面体的聚形。通常成致密块状产出。纯净者为无色透明或白色，含杂质时可染成红、黄、蓝等色。具完全的立方体解理。莫氏硬度2，比重1.99。易溶于水，味道苦涩。分布远较石盐稀少。常与石膏一起产于含盐沉积岩层和现代沉积盆地中，少量见于火山口附近。主要产地有俄罗斯的乌拉尔，白俄罗斯，加拿大的萨斯喀彻温省 ，德国马格德堡和汉诺威 ，美国新墨西哥州特拉华盆地。青海为中国钾盐最大产地，云南亦有产出。 |
